So Jephthah passed over unto the children of Ammon to fight against them ; and the LORD delivered them into his hands .

And he said , Go . And he sent her away for two months: and she went with her companions , and bewailed her virginity upon the mountains .

耶弗他说，你去吧。就容她去两个月。她便和同伴去了，在山上为她终为处女哀哭。

Then Jephthah fled from his brethren , and dwelt in the land of Tob: and there were gathered vain men to Jephthah, and went out with him .

Then Jephthah went over to fight the Ammonites, and the LORD gave them into his hands.

And Jephthah judged Israel six years . Then died Jephthah the Gileadite, and was buried in one of the cities of Gilead.

耶弗他作以色列的士师六年。基列人耶弗他死了，葬在基列的一座城里。

And they said unto Jephthah, Come , and be our captain, that we may fight with the children of Ammon .

And Jephthah said unto the elders of Gilead, Did not ye hate me , and expel me out of my father 's house ?

And he repeated all his words before the LORD in Mizpah.

So Jephthah went with the elders of Gilead, and the people made him head and commander over them.

And the elders of Gilead said unto Jephthah, The LORD be witness between us , if we do not so according to thy words .

基列的长老回答耶弗他说，有耶和华在你我中间作见证，我们必定照你的话行。

And said unto him , Thus saith Jephthah, Israel took not away the land of Moab, nor the land of the children of Ammon:

对他说，耶弗他如此说，以色列人并没有占据摩押地和亚扪人的地。

Judg 12: 7 And Jephthah judged Israel six years.

士 12：7 耶弗他作以色列的士师六年。

And Jephthah vowed a vow unto the LORD, and said , If thou shalt without fail deliver the children of Ammon into mine hands,

耶弗他就向耶和华许愿，说，你若将亚扪人交在我手中，

Then Jephthah sent messengers to the Ammonite king with the question: "What do you have against us that you have attacked our country ? "

耶弗他打发使者去见亚扪人的王，说：“你与我有什么相干，竟来到我国中攻打我呢？”

And Jephthah sent messengers again unto the king of the children of Ammon :
