The ideamay be that if you know where a rule is specified in AACR2, you canlook it up and it will cross link to the RDA rule .

They also include links between the AACR2 rules andcorresponding RDA rules .

This can happen because MARC and AACR2 are largelyfocused on capturing the paper catalog card in computer form .

Even though the rules will bereplaced, the RDA Toolkit will contain the full text of AACR2.

This will be really useful when moving fromAACR2 to RDA.
