和西庇太(Zebedee)的两个儿子：圣雅各和圣约翰(Saint James＆John the Evangelist，皆为耶稣十二门徒) 合夥打渔为生。

Then the mother of the sons of Zebedee came to him with her sons, giving him worship and making a request of him.

那时，西庇太儿子的母亲，同她儿子们进前来拜耶稣，求他一件事。

Immediately He called them; and they left their father Zebedee in the boat with the hired servants , and went away to follow Him.

耶稣随既招呼他们。他们就把父亲西庇太，和雇工人留在船上，跟从耶稣去了。

When he had gone a little farther , he saw James son of Zebedee and his brother John in a boat , preparing their nets .

耶稣稍往前走，又见西庇太的儿子雅各和雅各的兄弟约翰在船上补网。

And going on a little , He saw James the son of Zebedee and John his brother , who also were in their boat, mending the nets .

他稍往前走，又看见西庇太的儿子雅各布，和雅各布的兄弟约翰，在船上补网。

The family of Zebedee was all Jesus' disciples and followers , and two of the sons were two of the leading disciples and apostles .

西庇太家族都是上帝的信奉者和追随者，那两个儿子则是信徒和使徒的领头人。

And James and John , the sons of Zebedee, came to Him, saying to Him, Teacher, we want You to do for us whatever we ask You.

西庇太的儿子雅各布和约翰到耶稣跟前来，对他说，夫子，我们无论向你求什么，愿你给我们作。
