And he said unto them , Behold , the king 's son shall reign, as the LORD hath said of the sons of David .

Now Jehoiada was old and full of years , and he died at the age of a hundred and thirty.

And Benaiah the son of Jehoiada answered the king , and said , Amen: the LORD God of my lord the king say so too .

Joash did what was right in the eyes of the Lord all the years Jehoiada the priest instructed him .

And Jehoiada made a covenant between him, and between all the people , and between the king , that they should be the LORD's people .

耶何耶大与众民和王立约，都要作耶和华的民。

Now after the death of Jehoiada came the princes of Judah , and made obeisance to the king . Then the king hearkened unto them .

耶何耶大死后，犹大的众首领来朝拜王。王就听从他们。

Thus Joash the king remembered not the kindness which Jehoiada his father had done to him , but slew his son .

As long as Jehoiada lived , burnt offerings were presented continually in the temple of the Lord .

And king David said, Call me Zadok the priest, and Nathan the prophet, and Benaiah the son of Jehoiada. And they came before the king .

大卫王又吩咐说、将祭司撒督、先知拿单、耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅召来、他们就都来到王面前。

Then the king gave the order to Benaiah son of Jehoiada, and he went out and struck Shimei down and killed him .

于是王吩咐耶何耶大的儿子比拿雅，他就去杀死示每。
